How is 18G Cannula used and for what purpose?
18G cannula is used prior to insertion of the PDO for facial rejuvenation. It creates a tunnel and meanwhile can use lidocaine to numb the area. PDOs are inserted in the area traveled by the 18G cannula to decrease the discomfort. Sculptra is also used to inject in large areas needed for filling.
